Peter Lentini is the founder and creative director at Ankara Festivals and Naija Entertainment. Both of which have become household names in the city of Los Angeles. He got into the entertainment business as an event promoter in Lagos, Nigeria, organizing street carnivals and concerts like the Benson and Hedges Road Show, Nigerian Breweries Promotion and Performing Musician Association of Nigeria (PMAN) events.
He moved to California in 2000 and started Naija Entertainment Organization in 2004, to create an avenue to foster unity among Nigerians in the Bay Area through social events.
He has always been fascinated by the African culture and everything that surrounds it, and so in the summer of 2009 he moved to the entertainment capital of the world. Here he re-launched his entertainment company and went on to birth Ankara Festival Los Angeles (AFLA), an organization that showcases the African culture through fashion, music, arts and food. The aim of Ankara Festival Los Angeles is to create a social landscape for cultural pride in North America.
In 2011 Peter Lentini debut his acting career working with a production company on a new series titled CSI: Las Gidi, which premiered that year at the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles.
He has since then gone on to organize and promote several events such as The Nigerian Reunion (NRC), CSUN Africa week, Mocolatee fashion show, African Focus premier dance competition in Los Angeles and the list goes on.
He is constantly getting inspired by the works and creativity in others and has fast become an inspiration in his community.
